Unleashing Transportation Leads To Growing Economies
MyCaptain Knows The Required Paradigm Shifts To Evolve The Global Air Transportation System, GATS.
The paradigm shifts involves both GATS and the connected commercial business operations. The starting point is American business and their National Airspace System, NAS. The integration of the GATS requires the same groups in Europe and South America. To evolve the day-to-day operations of the GATS, with no interruptions in service, requires a concurrent solution. The integration of Smart System and business interests into the present NAS requires countries with the ability to adapt. The Smart System solution includes the interests and cooperation of the passengers, industry, pilots and governments on a grand scale.
The Smart System Solution Works Concurrently With Todays NAS
The first steps to evolving the GATS requires a redirection of the present 'Harmonized NextGen and SESAR' plans. It also includes the participation and integration, on a grand scale, of both 'Regional and International Smart Airports'. The operational side of a Smart Airports requires a 'dynamic parametric man-machine interface'. This direct interactive interface & autonomous operation will actively connect communications and actions of pilots, controllers, aircraft, airports and runways. Smart Airports & Runways 'operational needs' will change real-time based on individual aircraft, the changing runway configurations and airport/airspace environment. 'Smart Runways' will operate along side present runways. Pilots and controllers will train and interact in 'Smart Airspace, Airports, Runways and Taxi' operations along side present systems. The new business model will change based on the needs of commercial business, passengers and as capital investment grows.
Present Government Airport Design Is Flawed On Multiple Levels
The new focus on Smart Airports requires a two-fold physical paradigm shift in present day airport operations and business. All present government airport designs need to change how they move people and aircraft. First, airports typically have just one entrance and exit. Smart Airport design includes multiple surrounding entrances enhancing passenger flow, airport business and security. Second, to increase airport aircraft capacity the Smart Runway design will eliminate taxiways and grass. Smart Runways will be wide, long and have integrated interactive Smart Digital Lighting systems. Smart Airport Controllers will real-time alter physical flow of airport operations for both airborne and ground traffic. The Smart Runway will recognize and interact air and ground operations with Smart Aircraft. The integration of Smart Air Traffic in Smart Airspace will include both the departure, en route and arrival to the next Smart Airport. This process will directly connect the businesses and air operations of the Smart Airport Pair.
The New Business Focus Is On The Passenger's 'Expensive Appointment'
The commercial and retail sales business model in and around todays airports needs a paradigm shift. Smart Airport design marries 'modern mall design' with 'air cargo operations'. The todays airport retail business model of a 'random customer base' will shift to 'a customers you know are coming'. The classic large 'brick and mortar pretty warehouse design' where most products on display 'do not sell', will convert. The new physical design of the 'retail store' in and around Smart Airports will expand in quantity but shrink in size. This means more 'smaller stores' with 'dynamically controlled product movement' based on their customers 'expensive appointment'. Product movement in and around the Smart Airport will be similar to how 'parcel service and catalog sales' are handled today. An operational business model designed around the location and connection of passengers, the public and their 'Smart Devices' as they travel to and from their Smart Airport Pairs. All the participating businesses at both ends of the passengers 'expensive appointment' will participate on a grand scale.
A Passenger Driven Model That Generates Flights
The new business model is one driven by the passenger. The process starts when the passenger selects which Smart Airports to pair their flights with. Every participating business, in and around the passenger's selected Smart Airport Pair will interact with that passenger during their online ticket purchase. Additional economic growth will come from all traveling companions. The system will further enhance these transactions before, during and after the trip is completed. This business model will open up new markets and competition for service. This model will naturally promote and provide for large private capital investment. This Smart System will allow the individual passengers, businesses, sports groups, concerts and others to generate flights on a small and large scale to and from any event.
Both Argentina And Brazil Have Already Privatized Their Airports
The 'Letters to Stakeholders' page gives a better understanding of which North American and South American States have the NAS to make the concurrent transition to a Smart System possible. Requirements include, International States who's NAS are already in a position to help with the evolution of the GATS. Two prime examples of this are Argentina and Brazil. Both States have already privatized their airports. Both have the required airspace and direct nightly interactive commercial aviation operational interests. They are excellent choices for integrating International Smart Airport Pairs using "Smart Airspace" in a Smart System.
